In order to access F.W. Webb's WebbConnect® Online Ordering System you will need to know your customer number and your password which were provided to you when your account was set up. (For information on
setting up an account please see the WebbConnect homepage.) Simply enter this information in the Login area provided.
F.W. Webb uses cookies to keep track of the bids and orders you enter on our site. We also use a cookie to store your
customer number and password, so on subsequent visits you will not need to log in. Please see our WebbConnect Troubleshooting page for information on browser and firewall settings.
Once you have logged in you are given three options from which to choose:
Open Order Pad
This is the area where you will enter new orders and quotes. Both are entered the same way, and you are given the option to either place the order immediately
or save it as a quotation for future purchase. You will notice that you have a couple of options when placing orders on WebbConnect. If you know the F.W. Webb part number you would like to order or you
have your own part numbers set up with Webb you can simply enter a quantity followed by the product number in the blank spaces provided. If you are not sure of the item you want to order you can scroll down a
bit and use our Search function to locate the item(s) you need. (for more on searching see our Search Instructions page)
After entering the products you wish to order you have
the option via buttons below the order pad to save the order as a quotation or submit it for processing. If you submit the order for processing you will be stepped through the process of entering/confirming
various shipping details. if you choose to save the order as a quotation your order will be saved on our system for later review as outlined in the "Review Order Pad Entries" section below.
Note: When saving quotations it is a good idea to enter a Jobname in the space provided. This will make it easier for you to locate specific quotes down the road.
Review Order Pad Entries
In this section you have the ability to view all of the orders you have previously saved as quotations. You have the ability to add, delete and
modify all of the information on the quotation. When you have finished making any necessary changes you can submit the order for processing or once again save it as a quotation with the new information.
Review Order/Quote/AR Info
This section of WebbConnect is subdivided into three separate areas: Open Quotes, Open Orders and Accounts Receivable Information.
- The Open Quotes section differs from the previous section in that these quotes are those entered by an F.W. Webb salesperson. You have the ability to make the same modifications as outlined in the "Review
Order Pad Entries" section.
- The Open Orders section is a listing of all orders placed by you which are currently being processed but have yet to be invoiced. you have the ability to view these orders online, but you cannot make any
modifications. If you need to make a change to one of these orders you must contact your local F.W. Webb store.
- The Open A/R section is a listing of all outstanding invoices on your account. Again you can view these orders online but cannot make any changes.
